Brewing Change: The Rise of Sustainable Coffee

Coffee is one of the world’s most traded commodities, but behind every cup is a story of farmers, climate challenges and communities working hard to grow one of our favourite daily rituals. As consumers look for brands with purpose, sustainably sourced coffee has never been more important.

At The Huddle, sustainability has always been part of our ethos. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new partnership with Paddy & Scott’s, a bold & innovative coffee brand committed to making a difference from crop to cup.

Who are Paddy & Scott's?

Founded on the idea that coffee should be a force for good, Paddy & Scott’s have spent almost two decades building transparent, direct‑trade relationships with farmers.

Their impact stretches across Kenya and Brazil, where they collaborate with farming families to deliver:

- Investment in school infrastructure

- Access to healthcare and dignity packs

- Training in regenerative, climate‑resilient farming

- Reforestation and biodiversity protection

A Shared Ethos: Why The Huddle Partnered with Paddy & Scott’s

Here at The Huddle, we serve a diverse community; rugby fans, travellers, locals, co‑workers, families and students. We wanted a coffee partner whose values matched our own, and whose product could elevate our menu while contributing to something bigger.

Paddy & Scott’s aligned perfectly with our goals:

- Sustainability-first mindset

- A transparent, measurable social impact

- Community-driven, ethical business practices

Meet the Blends We're Proud to Serve
  • Muchomba Classic - Kenya: A smooth, vibrant coffee with citrus and dried fruit notes. Grown at the Muchomba Farm, this blend directly supports the farming family and local schools.
  • Earth Coffee - Brazil: For every case sold, a tree is planted in partnership with the Mount Kenya Trust. A velvety medium roast with raspberry and chocolate tones.
  • Lunch Box - Brazil: Every bag funds a school meal for a child in a farming community. A bold, dark roast with blackcurrant and almond notes.
